Memorial Day Project

This Memorial Day we decided to put in a long-wanted patio cover. We started early in the day and finished later that night. We are super excited about how it turned out!
Barrett loved watching the boys use the power tools-- especially the nail gun! He hung out in his walker and just stared at the boys building the patio all day!

Camping at Lewis River

We went camping on the Lewis River with our 2 boys (Baggins and Barrett) this last weekend and we had a blast! The little RV park where we stayed is right on the Lewis River. It's a great little diamond in the rough! We played in the river, went for walks, and took a short trip down to see Lake Merwin! You can see that our view from the dinner table is a fabulous river scene. We feel so lucky to be able to take Mark and Kathy's RV out-- especially when it has air conditioning in this scorching heat!

Mother's Day Fun!

We celebrated Mother's Day this year at the country club with my folks! It was super fun and we all ate tons from the buffett! Barrett is teething like crazy and just popped out the tip of a toofer. =)

We had to show our other baby.... Baggins.... and how sweet he is with Barrett. Barrett loves grabbing his soft ears and pulling on them and good 'ole Baggins just gives him kisses! =) He's just a big 'ole lover doggie!

I can mimic what you do!!!!

So Barrett is 7 months old and is starting to mimic us shaking our head no. It's such a crack-up to watch, as he almost falls over doing it. We might be regretting teaching him "no!" We probably should be doing "yes".... as in yes, i'll eat my vegetables!
Every time I watch this I start laughing out loud! Ohhh the things those kiddos do to melt your heart!

Camping Photos!

This last weekend we ventured out to Beverley Beach on the Oregon Coast for a weekend camping trip. We stayed in Mark and Kathy's RV and the five of us (Scotty, Me, Bear, Ryan & Heather) had a great time! The weather was sunny and cold. We walked out on the beach, wrote our names in the sand, sat by the campfire, went to Newport for seafood, played games.... it was just perfect! Barrett loved watching the ocean and looking at the crackling fire.
