Sweet Potato Pie! Oh my!

Barrett tried his first "real" food today! Good ole' sweet potatoes were on the menu. We opted to skip the rice cereal commonly given to infants and move right to the fresh, all natural veggies.
Bear kept opening his mouth and watching intently when scotty and i were eating our food, so we thought we'd give him a try at some pureed taters. He was super excited about this new adventure as you can see by the video. He caught on extremely quick and was swallowing no problem. His facial expressions were the best as he tried to figure out what he was eating.

Peekaboo is Hilarious!

One of my most favorite things in getting to know my son is his laugh! Every time it just melts my heart!

Mr. Barrett becoming a biiiiiiiiggg boy!!!!

Our little guy is getting to be a super big boy! He is 4 1/2 months and growing steadily, although still on the smaller side. He is about 13 lbs and 24 1/2 inches long! We just got him a johnny jump-up! He loves squirming in there, but can't quite figure out the jumping yet! We also got him a walker and he just loovvveeess that! His little legs don't reach the floor yet, so there is more sitting than walking, but i love rolling him around the house singing the Indian Jones theme- Da Da Da Daaaaa.... Da da da.... Da Da Da Daaaa....
Three days a week he gets to hang out with his grandma and grandpa Brahmer while mom and dad work at the clinic. It's hard for us to leave him, but we keep busy with our patients!

Life is good and we are having so much fun with our big boy!
